Clinical Informatics Lead

As Clinical Informatics Lead, you'll be the clinical conscience of our AI platform — ensuring every model we ship is clinically valid, safe, and meaningful. You'll work at the intersection of medicine, data science, and product to shape how AI is applied in real care settings.

Bridge the gap between our AI models and clinical reality. You'll define clinical evaluation frameworks, review model outputs with clinicians, and guide product decisions with evidence.

Responsibilities

• Define and own clinical evaluation frameworks for all AI models prior to deployment
• Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and ML engineers to assess model outputs and edge cases
• Develop clinical safety protocols and post-market surveillance processes
• Guide product roadmap decisions with evidence from clinical literature and data analysis
• Represent Curely AI in clinical advisory boards and partner health system working groups
• Lead and mentor a small team of clinical informaticists and data analysts

Requirements

• MD, DO, PharmD, or advanced clinical degree (or equivalent clinical experience)
• 5+ years of clinical informatics experience in a health system or health tech company
• Strong analytical skills and fluency with clinical data standards (ICD-10, SNOMED, LOINC)
• Experience evaluating AI/ML models for clinical safety and efficacy
• Excellent communication skills for both clinical and technical audiences

Nice to have

• AMIA or HIMSS certification
• Experience with regulatory submissions (FDA SaMD, CE marking)
• Background in clinical research or evidence-based medicine
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis
